I don’t know if my work is extreme or conceptual enough, but I am a jeweller and would love to design some Nymans themed pieces. Please look at my website and see what you think.

Hi there,
Sounds really exciting, thanks for this opportunity, I would definitely be keen to get involved. I recently worked with a group artists on a collaborative project based in Kent and it was a truly positive experience, totally inspiring and a great chance to network.

It sounds like a fabulous opportunity for artists and people with creative talent to get involved with the National Trust. I am an Art Historian and would be delighted to write an interpretive article when the project is up and running.

I produced a range of work for Womersley fine foods and Birr Castle in county Offally Ireland a few years ago.The owner and his brother were born at Nymans.I would love to produce a gigantic garden pot to celebrate this colourful character whom I have had the greatest pleasure meeting.
Please see my website or visit my stand at the RHS shows and Harlow Carr gardens Harrogate.

I carve things out of wood and tell stories with relief carving. I definitely don’t carve robins on logs. But, thinking about your project, they could be subjected to a bit of subversion. When I toured Mexico some years ago I was fascinated by the spanish colonial baroque architecture of the churches and cathedrals and the carved wooden religious sculpture within them. My sketch book drawings of the time still awaits further development/ exploitation. I would enjoy getting them mixed up in your project.

I work with natural materials and explore their metaphorical and transformative potential in a very delicate, extreme craft. I was very impressed and inspired by the House Of Beasts exhibition and would love to exhibit work of a similar vein. Please visit my website for examples of my previous work. Kind Regards, Estelle Woolley.

This is a fantastic opportunity. I am a contemporary painter dealing with nature in its abstract form. I am interested in light, depth, colour and form. I am currently working on a series called “look up” based around tree canopies.
I would be very interested to be involved in thios project and producing some specific wrk for it. Please let me know if you think my work would be appropriate for your needs. Many thanks

I make tree sculptures out of industrial materials, my main theme being light and colour.. I think this would be very relative to Nymans. I live very near there and find that the whole area is overlooked as tourists and garden lovers flock to places like Cornwall. I like the idea of combining my sculptures with human figures to explore the idea of fancy dress, Morris and ancient nature rites and celebrations. I also work with terracotta which can be fired to withstand the British winter!
